Tadelakt

Tadelakt is a traditional Moroccan lime plaster finish that becomes naturally waterproof through a unique process involving olive oil soap applied during burnishing. Originally used in hammams (Moroccan bathhouses) and riads, tadelakt creates seamless, water-resistant surfaces without grout lines or caulk. The waterproof quality makes tadelakt exceptional for showers, tubs, and wet areas where the continuous, joint-free surface eliminates water penetration concerns. The soft, undulating appearance brings spa-like luxury and Moroccan mystique to contemporary bathrooms.
