Tier Curtains

Tier curtains are designed to be used in layers—two or three tiers that can cover different portions of a window, providing flexibility in privacy and light control. The layered system allows various configurations: all tiers closed for privacy, upper tier open for light, or any combination that suits the moment. This traditional curtain style remains popular in kitchens, bathrooms, and casual spaces where the cheerful, cottage-like aesthetic enhances the decor. Tier curtains often come in matching sets with coordinating valances for a complete, layered look.

Placement & Usage Tips

Install the tension rod for lower tier at mid-window. Upper tier rod positions just below window frame top. Valance rod mounts above frame. Ensure all tiers overlap slightly for privacy.

💡 Pro Tip

Mix and match tier lengths for custom configurations—some manufacturers offer tiers in multiple lengths. A longer lower tier with shorter upper tier provides privacy where needed most.
