Wall Treatments

Beadboard

Beadboard is paneling featuring narrow vertical planks with characteristic rounded beads (grooves) between them. This distinctively American treatment evokes cottage, coastal, and Victorian aesthetics, adding cheerful character to any space. Traditional beadboard consists of individual tongue-and-groove boards; modern alternatives include sheet goods with routed beads that install more quickly. Either version, typically painted white or soft colors, creates the same charming effect.
